What are exponents?
exponents are notations used to multiply how many times you need to multiply the base by itself. it also simplifies larger numbers.
Real world application of algebra?
you need it for jobs like if you work for fixing houses for a living and you need the measurements. you need it to pass hghschool if you dont you could just on the streets and not really have a good life. you bsically have to know math in life to get through the real world like any purchase of something in the world.

Math Reflective Essay
This class was about algebra. We learned different techniques about algebra.The teacher that teaches this math class is the most intellegent math teacher names Victoria Vela'zquez.
My favorite part about this class this semester was the F.O.I.L and Box Method technique because, they were easy and seemed like a fun type of math. The least favorite part about this class was when we wrote alot of notes because they were long and my hand would hurt afterwards.
One new thing that I learned that I never knew before I took this class was the Equation of a line method. One thing that I would of wanted to learn that wasnt taught would maybe be nothing probably because I dont know what else there is to teach. If I take this class again I would probably not add anything because there is enough already, and its good enough.
The topics that I need to cover to be able to pass my Math Proficiency would be graphing and data I think, and word problems. I dont get them at all. Ithink my math skills improved a little but not much. I feel that when I learn something new at first I dont get it but after a little while I understand, and im on a roll and head to the finish line when I understand new things that are taught.
